MY MAKING

Ég kemst alltaf í betra skap þegar ég sest niður og fer að búa eitthvað til. Fyrir nokkru síðan þá tók ég upp á því að búa til hálsmen og langaði mér aðeins að sýna útkomuna úr því.

I always seem to get into a better mood when I sit down and start creating something. Some time ago I started making necklaces and I wanted to show you some of it.

Eins og sést kannski þá er ég mjög fyrir metal, gull og svart í skarti. Mér finnst líka skemmtilegast að búa til eitthvað sem er hægt að nota við nánast allt.

Like you can probably see I am really into metal, gold and black accessories. I also think it's best to make something you can use with almost anything.

SAYING GOODBYE TO 2015

 I had a really good time in 2015.

I turned 19,

Went to Boston with my mom and my sister and had a great time enjoying each others company .

Went to Reykjavik Fashion Festival N°6 and saw designs from couple of Icelands greatest designers.

Saw Mø, Kelis, Gusgus and many others at Secret Solstice festival.

Went to to London with 2 amazing friends ,for a week, mainly to go to the Wireless festival in Finsbury Park where I saw Drake, David Guetta, Kendrick Lamar, Avicci and many others.

Celebrated my sister turning 30!

Saw a lot of great artists at Iceland Airwaves in Reykjavik, for example Sophie and QT.

So as you can see I really enjoy going to music festivals and hearing music from new artists, I don't think theres anything more fun than going to a good concert with good company and enjoying life together. Thank god I have amazing friends and family to enjoy all of this with.

Like I told you in my last post, I got my head filled with ideas and can't wait to bring them to life. I have been drawing a lot of my designs lately and have begun buying fabrics and sowing so after some time I will begin posting them and ,in the mean time, I hope you'll enjoy the blog!

PACKING UP CHRISTMAS

Hi, hello, hello!

So I'm back you guys! Had a great time over the holidays with family and friends and I'm totally ready to take on 2016. I have a good feeling for this one. Turning 20 in 23 days and my mind is filled with ideas.

On new years I desided to go simple but have somewhat bold accessories.

The shoes I ordered from ASOS end they are aaaamazing. I know you are not supposed to say that you love shoes but when it comes to these ones I do, I really do.

Then it came to the end of Christmas, the 6th of December, and on that day my grandparents host a big party for my whole family so that is a great occasion to dress up.

So this outfit is mostly made out of items I found on sale. The pants I found in a vintage shop and the kimono is from ZARA.
